It was seven months ago. The Saints won the Super Bowl for the first time in their 43-year history with a 31-17 victory over the Colts. And it gave the people of New Orleans something to cheer about, in a city severely affected by Katrina. Only three players remain on the Saint’s roster from 2005, when the hurricane struck the city.

Among them Will Smith, a defensive end for the team since 2004. ''I think what it was able to do to the people of Louisiana, the people of New Orleans, to inspire them and show there are positive things that can come to the city, I think that in itself helped'', he said in the Times-Picayune.

Will Smith, as well as Marques Colston, Darren Sharper, Reggie Bush and the newly arrived Alex Brown, is represented by Lagardère Unlimited. And before beginning their title defence on Thursday at the Superdome against the Minnesota Vikings, they are all ambitious and eager to keep the Vince Lombardi trophy in Louisiana. They’re still led by their star running back Reggie Bush, who looked healthier than ever in the preseason, especially in the 36-21 victory against the Chargers. Once again, the California native will be of the one to watch in Sean Payton’s team, a squad surrounded by high expectations before this season.
