"The Last Emperor" is back !
Fedor Emelianenko, nicknamed "The Last Emperor" is back on top of his game after defeating American fighter Jeff Monson in Moscow, in front of more than 22 000 fans.
A major figure in the martial arts world, Fedor Emelianenko got back to winning ways in Moscow. The Russian fighter represented by Lagardère Unlimited is considered to be the greatest heavyweight in the history of MMA, and also one the greatest mixed martial artist of all time. Facing American fighter Jeff Monson on Sunday, "The Last Emperor" showed that he is back on top of his game, recording a unanimous decision and knocking down the "Snowman" four times. Cheered by more than 22 000 fans and greeted by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, Fedor Emelianenko, 35, could face Japanese Satoshi Ishii in his next fight.
