Chia honoured

Danny Chia, who is represented by World Sport Group, subsidiary of Lagardère Unlimited, has been named 2010 Malaysian golfer of the year during the first ParGolf Awards. A fair reward for the history-maker.

Danny Chia could be seen as one of the best Malaysians golfers ever, and he has just been rewarded during the ParGolf Awards inaugural night. He has also been named 2010 Malaysian golfer of the year during this event hosted by ParGolf Magazine where Arjun Atwal was also nominated, for Asian Golfer of the Year.

Another reward for Danny Chia, after another great season. In 2002, he became the first player from his country to win an Asian Tour event, in Taiwan, and claimed two top 10 finish in 2010 before making history at Saint Andrews. On the prestigious Scottish course, he became the first Malaysian ever to play in all four rounds at the British Open. A performance which didn’t go unnoticed.
