Hopman Cup: Fish fought well

Mardy Fish defeated Frederik Nielsen 4-6, 7-6, 6-4, but couldn’t avoid the United States defeat in their Hopman Cup first game against Denmark. The American player and Bethanie Mattek-Sands were defeated 7-5, 6-3 by Caroline Wozniacki and her teammate in the mixed doubles.
