BARCLAYS SINGAPORE OPEN ASIAN TOUR - GOLF

The Singapore Open is a golf tournament that matters. This Lagardère Unlimited event is part of the Asian Tour since 1995, but not only. Because the Singapore Open, and its title sponsor Barclays, has been sanctioned by the European Tour since 2009, when English player Ian Poulter claimed the victory in Singapore. Title-holder Adam Scott has triumphed three times on the Sentosa Golf Club course, in 2010 and also in 2005 and 2006. Held in November and created in 1961, this prestigious tournament has seen its prize money increase year after year, to reach the $6.000.000 mark in 2010.
